Designing a Bathroom

Massage bathrooms tend to be quite small rooms and we like to cram a lot of things in to them. We often want a bath and/or shower, loo and sink. But it is important not to overlook other things as well. There will need to be a place to hang towels to dry as well as storage. A shaving mirror is a good way to get a useful mirror above the sink but also some storage space. It can also be useful to have a cupboard under the sink to store things in. Even with this amount of storage, those who have big families may still need more storage room and some wall cupboards can be useful for storing clean towels or spare toiletries. It’s important for homeowners to think about whether their family is likely to expand in the future and, if so, put in extra storage to accommodate this. Homeowners could also add this later, when it is needed but those who would like their bathrooms to match, should consider doing this now as when the moment comes to expand the family, these things may no longer be found in matching sets.

Flooring is a very important issue as well. Many people like the warmth of a carpet but any water that spills will just soak straight through and rot floorboards or even leak down to the floor below.
